1. Open program Installation wizard
2. On the initial Setup Screen you can configure System
and Date/Time settings for each camera. Click Next to
configure Network settings for the camera.
3. Users can configure the Network Settings for the camera
by entering the IP address, Subnet mask, Default router IP,
Primary DNS, and Secondary DNS. The option to reset IP
address at boot is automatically selected. If you would like
to keep your IP address settings, make sure to uncheck this
box. Click next
4. Users can configure the Wireless Network Settings for
the camera, by entering the SSID and selecting the
Wireless Mode, Channel, TX Rate, and Preamble. Click next
** Note: These settings can also be configured on the
Advanced > Network page when configuring the camera
via a Web Browser.
5. Click Apply to save the configured settings. Users can click
Previous to modify changes.
6. Click Done

Please follow the steps in this document:
For each camera that resides behind a router or a gateway, several ports must be forwarded by the router to obtain video and audio (if your camera supports audio). The default ports are:
DCS-2000 and DCS-2100+ cameras:
80 (TCP) HTTP Port (allows access to web-configuration and transmits video if other ports are not forwarded);
5001 (TCP/UDP) Control Channel Port (used to synchronize audio and video);
5002 (TCP/UDP) Audio Channel Port (transmits synchronized audio);
5003 (TCP/UDP) Video Channel Port (transmits synchronized video);
DCS-2120 and DCS-5220 camera:
80 (TCP) HTTP Port (allows access to web-configuration and transmits video if other ports are not forwarded);
554 (TCP/UDP) RTSP Streaming (used for audio and video streaming to mobile phones);
DCS-3200-series, DCS-5300-series and DCS-6600-series cameras:
80 (TCP) HTTP Port (allows access to web-configuration and transmits video if other ports are not forwarded);
5001 (TCP/UDP) Control Channel Port (used to synchronize audio and video);
5002 (TCP/UDP) Audio Channel Port (transmits synchronized audio);
5003 (TCP/UDP) Video Channel Port (transmits synchronized video);
DCS-G900 camera:
80 (TCP) HTTP Port (allows access to web-configuration and transmits video if other ports are not forwarded);
The port numbers will need to be changed in the camera configuration for each additional camera that is added behind the router. Port numbers can be changed from the ADVANCED > NETWORK screen.
NOTE: Some ISP's may block access on port 80. In this case you can setup your camera on a different port (e.g. 8888) and open this port in your router. To access the camera through a port different from default, you need to add colon (:) and the port number to the http:// address (e.g. http://63.116.231.25:8888).
Example: Three cameras are behind a router. The router has a public IP address of 63.116.231.25 and an internal IP address of 192.168.0.1
Camera 1 IP address: 192.168.0.10 Ports: 80, 5001, 5002 and 5003
Camera 2 IP address: 192.168.0.20 Ports: 81, 6001, 6002 and 6003
Camera 3 IP address: 192.168.0.30 Ports: 82, 7001, 7002 and 7003
Each set of four ports must be forwarded to the respective IP address.
To contact these cameras from a remote location (across the Internet), use the PUBLIC IP address of the router along with the appropriate web port. Using the above example:
To contact camera 1 with Internet Explorer, enter http://63.116.231.25
To contact camera 2 with Internet Explorer, enter http://63.116.231.25:81
To contact camera 3 with Internet Explorer, enter http://63.116.231.25:82
*As you can see, when using HTTP port 80, the actual port number does not need to be entered.
These cameras can also be contacted with IP surveillance (included software).
Step 1. Launch the MONITOR application and choose FUNCTION MENU > CAMERA CONFIGURATIONS
Step 2. Enter the routers PUBLIC IP address and port number in the IP address field in the top left corner.
Step 3. Press the INSERT button directly above.
Step 4. Press SAVE.
